Gallery Sumukha presents a solo show of the works of Bengaluru-based contemporary artist Bharathesh G. D., inquisitively titled ‘Pain Corporation of India.’ The artist examines the question of pain through a series of ideas and works that function as meaning-making machines—only to turn against themselves. The works expose how belief is engineered, pain normalised, and dissent absorbed, deferred, and managed within visual culture.
